Hello Friends
My Guest designer post this week for AALL & Create is a mixed media card using Tracy Evans's fabulous newly released Fritillaria stamp set (#274) along with Olga Heldwein's beautiful Abundance stencil (#85)
This stamp by Tracy is wonderful, you can make a very quick card by simply stamping and colouring the flower.
I used my Gelli plate and Dina Wakley Acrylic paint (turquoise), along with the stencil to create a backbround for my flower.
Once dry, I stamped and embossed the Fritallaria.
I did a bit of paint splattering, stamped, coloured and cut out the flower. The flower was mounted with some 3D glue and the whole card was mat and layered.
The stamp set and stencil I used are available HERE where you will also find a list of worldwide stockists.
Thanks so much for your visit, I hope to see you again soon!
Hugs, Anne xxx
Such a lovely way to use the stencil.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Anne, I love your stencilled background, especially on this turquoise background. Have a very happy week, Sue xx
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore this card! Your gelli plate background is beautiful and the flower stamp, wonderfully coloured, is gorgeous! The sentiment is lovely too. I have lots of Tracy's stamps, her designs are become a firm favourite, but I don't have this one yet, or the one on your last post. I have a long wish list though! Hugs my friend! xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful Anne! The background is amazing! I love the colour and I love the pattern .. so gorgeous! The stamp is fantastic and you have made it come alive with that pop of red! Love, love, love this!! xx
ReplyDeleteYou know you had me at turquoise and red, Annie! This is such a magnificent tactile card and I love that QACAS stamp with the text and pretty solo flower all-in-one! With your swank Geli plate and stenciled background, it's now an art piece to be displayed!! Take care over there, my friend!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo
ReplyDeleteJust look at that background, what a fresh and inviting colour that is. That stamp is fantastic, another new one to me, i'm loving these flowery creations. Your so good at bringing all these new designs to me Anne, with limited time for TV & not much on the Social Media side you are even more important to people like me Anne as you keep us all in the know. Beautifully executed again from beginning to end.
ReplyDeleteHope you and yours are all keeping well?? It's a bit chaotic out there in the world atm. Stay safe HUGS Tracey xx
What a stunning background, Anne - that's really magical. And the pop of your trademark red for the flower head is so effective. Glorious!
