Hello Everyone
First of all I would like to say a big thank you to Graphic 45 for sharing my Apothecary Cabinet on their Facebook page, it is such an honour to be featured there!
.....
.....
My next projects for Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team - October Hauntings & Holidays - using the wonderful G45 Rare Oddities paper pad, are some more Halloween makes. I do so love Halloween! You can see more of my talented teamies work over here.
A witches hat and using Eileen's Passport Book die, a little piece to celebrate all things Halloween! As I have quite a few pictures, I will keep the words to the minimum. I will start by showing the inside of the book.
G45 papers, Tim Holtz cat die, Tim Holtz web embossing folder.
G45 papers plus spider web (make unknown)
G45 papers and Tim Holtz die cut cage and Raven
G45 papers, Tim Holtz cat die, Memory Box fence die
G45 papers, Tim Holtz dies - Halloween people, fence and owl
G45 papers, Tim Holtz die cut words, Memory Box die village scene, cobweb sticker (unknown make).
And finally! The back of the book, embossed with Tim Holtz's web embossing folder. I just love how dies and papers from different company's all work so well together.
The front cover of the book is embossed with the Tim Holtz cobweb embossing folder and I dragged a black archival ink pad over the top. The spider is a Tim Holtz die. The skull is from my stash....
The witch hat was simply made by making a cone shape for the top and a large circle for the brim. I embellished it with a broom and pumpkin (a gift from a lovely friend).
There is still time to enter Eileen Hull's Art With Heart Challenge which you can find HERE. I do hope you will share your October Hauntings and or Holidays project with us there. Eileen always has great prizes on offer!
Thanks very much for looking and I hope to see you again soon.
Hugs, Anne xx

ReplyDeleteHi Anne, love them both and the papers are brilliant. The journal book is one of my favourite projects, I'm in the middle of making a wallet book with these papers at the moment. I am hoping to get some photos of the children in costume as they would really finish it off brilliantly. The hat will make a great decoration or you could wear it Anne on Halloween Lol! Have a good week and happy crafting, Angela x
ReplyDeleteAhhh, you are the queen of all things 3D and altered! I love the way you just turn your hand to these things and create something awesome every single time!! I love the rare oddities collection but can't really warrant buying all of it , as sadly don't do a lot of halloween, but I will drool over your gorgeous makes. ReplyDeleteJust the thought of making a book like that is completely overwhelming to me Anne so.... to me - this is SUCH a great work of artistic know how and amazing skills. I absolutely am in awe. I have looked at the pictures 3 times already - what a treat to see. Going back to look again. Thank you for being a wonderful inspiration - making the impossible see possible. j.
ReplyDeleteI'll echo Joi's sentiment about being overwhelmed at the idea of creating books as you do. You always pull off the project splendidly, and these papers are so inspiring. Love how you've combined the dies, glitter, ephemera of all things TH, to craft such a treasure. It's intriguing on each page, and I know your guests will love browsing. Also love the witches hat...and what a tablescape you will have to celebrate Halloween! TFS & Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI love G45 and your book is perfect! You have every detail and item coordinated perfectly. Also love the witch hat at the end, so cute!
ReplyDeleteHugs Kelly
That is fabulous Anne, love your Halloween passport book especially, so many wonderful details to see! Congratulations on your feature at G45 too! Deb xo
ReplyDeleteI do find it a bit intimidating and scary that you casually say such things as, "the skull is from my stash," as if we all have skulls in our stashes! NOT!! lol! Really these are astounding creations, Annie! I can visualize someone gingerly turning the pages on your incredibly detailed Halloween book a hundred years from now. It has that kind of staying power!! And the hat just leaves me speechless!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo
ReplyDeleteWow Anne! First congratulations on being featured by G45! This book really is amazing! You clearly enjoyed making it and I love all the fabulous silhouettes, especially the cat on the fence! I think I am becoming less of a Halloween wimp as I'm going back for another look! Chrisx
