WOYWW - Week 209 and Accordian Card

Hello Everyone

Another week has flown by and it is time again to show our workspaces to the world, courtesy of Julia over at Stamping Ground.  If you want to join in please visit Julia, who will give you all the details.

So what's on my workdesk this week?  I have two items to show you today.  The first is a a picture of the beautiful ATCs I have received:

Aren't I a lucky girl!  Top left is from my blog friend Rachel, the others are from Woywwers - top right from Neet (Hickydorums), bottom left from Mo (Almo) and bottom right from Lottie (Dottie Lottie).  Gorgeous work ladies, I love every one - a lot.  Thank you all for your kindness.

I still have ATCs on my desk to send out, one with Minxy's name on it and one with Toni's name on it.  If you ladies would kindly let me have your addresses I will get them off to you.

Next is something that quite a few people said last week they would like to see.  I got Karen Burniston's Accordian 3D die after months of waiting for it to come back into stock. Once it got it I realised that I needed another die too, to go with it, which has now arrived.  I showed the actual die and a blank card last week.  Here is my very first proper card using the die!  I think I may be using this die a lot......

D2 asked if she could send the card to her Dad for Father's Day, he has seen it and liked it, but has no idea that he is getting it for Father's Day.  I hope he's not disappointed!

A couple of close-ups - the stamps are Tim Holtz Time Traveller set.  The images are stamped in black archival ink and coloured with Distress Inks.  The backgrounds were created using Weathered Wood Distress Ink.

The base card is plain grey card and I used the second die to cut frames from some card from my stash which is overprinted with musical notes.  The lettering is from a X-cut alphabet die.  Click on the photos for a closer look.

Thanks for having a look, I hope you will leave me a comment.  As ever, I will try to visit as many of you as possible.  Happy WOYWW!  Big hugs, Anne xx

Have a wonderful week, Annie!

  47. Oh & Ah, and WOW! I run out of superlatives! Your ATC's received were wonderful. Lucky you. I hope you have a perfect place to display these so all your visitors can admire them. On your fold card. More WOWs! At least your DH has seen & approved it. No way do I think he will be disappointed. It is absolutely beautiful. I've seen a card done like this IRL, and it looks very complex. Love your coloring (as always!) with the DI, and the images/colors you chose for this very special day, are so complimentary to the card shape. Awesome card. TFS

Hugs, Neet 17 xx - thanks for visiting me earlier - sorry I am late I have been working outdoors trying to enjoy this sun whilst we have it and could not see my screen so had to abandon comments. Been on the phone tonight gabbing so am doing a bit before midnight.
