  1. I've never really registered before that you don't like brown! But what a brilliant job you've done with it over at AVJ... I love it.

  2. I popped over to check it out!
I think it turned out fabulous and the blue worked well with all the brown.

  3. Bravo, Anne! I LOVE, LOVE, LLOOOVVVEE this tag! You certainly seem perfectly comfortable with your grungy browns, although you don't use them much. What a fabulous tutorial you've prepared at A Vintage Journey, too! Hugs!

  8. I don't know if I would have like the tag alone Anne but you sure did make it special by putting on your canvas with the blue color. You do seem to have a good eye and know just what is needed.
    Aren't you tired?????

  12. Took me a little bit of looking around and searching links to finally get over to Destination, but finally I did. WOW! I am so amazed at the effect of stenciling over the burlap, and that it doesn't seep under the plastic. Very effective, looks like a men's suit fabric from oh-so long ago. Loved the shade of blue you've daubed around on the brown, the rusty look of the cogs and wheels, but the weathered blue frame makes your whole design just pop. Wonderful old photo...Your story of the process involved is always just fascinating. Enjoyed seeing the other entries - you are in with such a talented group of imaginative people. (I'd never guess you are not especially fond of working with browns!) TFS & Hugs

  14. I have to agree about brown, although I do love neutrals in the lighter tones. Your bright aqua sure makes the browns look great though, and your rusting looks so amazing! Love the shabby blue ribbon bow, a wonderful final touch! hugs :)
