Tim Tag August 2016

Hello Friends!

A quick post to share my Tim tag with you.  I loved creating my tag this month, so much so, that I made two!   Tim chose a great Technique Remix this month - Brayered Stain and Frameworks.  You can see Tim's tag HERE.

This is my second tag but I loved the colours much more on this one, I used Peacock Feathers and Rusty Hinge Distress Spray Stain for the brayering and the same colours of Distress Ink to add more intensity of colour.  I used the Honeycomb Framework die and a variety of materials.  I also used the Feather Duo die for the decoration.

I added some stitching and Tim's Smalltalk stickers for the sentiment.

For this tag I used Tim's Mirrored card but I just couldn't get those areas to photograph (so annoying)!  I used Tim's Wildflower Thinlits  and Smalltalk stickers again for the sentiment.

I wasn't quite so happy with the background on this one so it got relegated to second position.

As always, thanks for looking, I hope to see you again soon.

Anne xx

  1. I love both tags Anne. I think the contrast between the two - 1. being very vibrant, 2. being much softer - is what makes both lovely in their own right.

  12. Hi, Anne - beautiful tags - and I agree, that color combo is stunning!! I am very partial to feathers, and absolutely love your primary tag - that black is perfect!! Love your secondary tag also - quieter but still beautiful. Look forward to getting back into all of this one of these days - am busy packing most of my studio for a move this fall to my retirement house, even though I have a year and some before I actually retire, lol! So living vicariously through blogland - thank you for the inspiration!! xxx Lynn

Your background is vibrant and I love that you used all sorts of textures to fill in your honeycomb! A stunning tag with a wonderful sentiment! Sending hugs from the woods where I'm all set up in anticipation of the squirrels awakening from slumber, so I can catch a few shots with my camera. Have a wonderful weekend! hugs :)

Your tags are gorgeous!! I've been immersed in your blog, looking over your techniques while I sip my cup of tea, and there is no better way to enjoy some quiet time!
