Part 2 - Eileen Hull's New Release - Vintage Travel

Thank you so much for your comments on my last post, I am thrilled that you seem to love Eileen Hull's wonderful dies for Sizzix as much as I do!

As you know from my last post, Eileen is showcasing her dies and the Design Team samples at CHA in California, right now and the feedback so far says that people are enjoying this wonderful new release.

Today I am sharing the rest of my samples and I hope you like them too!
I loved making this Box/Train Case, it is a very good size - big enough to take recipe cards or jewellery.  It goes together like a dream - this was one item I didn't want to send back to Eileen.....
This is called the Adirondack chair, the whole team have decorated this in some wonderful ways.  Love this die!
This mini Book/Passport die is so versatile, it has a flexible spine so that more pages can be added.  I have fitted a whole 12 months of pages so that it can be used as a birthday record book.
This is my final sample.  I used some of Eileen's wonderful new thin dies and embossing folders to create a book for Eileen to use on her next Paper Trail road trip in the USA!  You can see that Scotty, Eileen's trailer makes another appearance.  These dies are perfect for scrapbooking a holiday.

I am including links to some of my team mates who are also sharing more samples today.  I hope you will have time to have a look.  It is always lovely to see how differently people interpret the designs...

As always, I really appreciate your visit, thanks so much!  Big hugs, Anne xx

  2. Hi Anne, You have worked so hard with this release and stunning results. I adore the train case and feel my creative mind going into overdrive with these 3d dies and they compliment Tim's new range so well. Is the chair large enough for a little girls Barbie doll to sit on ? Just curious on size...

  6. And even more Well Dones! coming your way. The butterfly train case is as adorable as can be, and what a container for handmade cards it would make as well as the other uses. Loved each of the samples, and how delightful you incorporated Scotty into the little road trip book with the USA map. And again, so pleased your samples are on display where all the CHA visitors can appreciate them and see what wonderful items can be made from the products. TFS

  7. You lucky thing Anne, it's not always easy to get hold of the dies until they've been on the market for sometime. Still waiting to try and get one of her earlier ones.
Love what you've done with them. Happy crafting, Angela x

The 'train case' is wonderful too, it reminds me of a jewellery case I had many many moons ago.

  11. I love your samples Anne! Your chair is darling. And your pillow turned out much nicer than mine. Mine is a hot mess. But I love we were both thinking pillows for the chair. The book is darling. I didn't get that one so it's nice to see it.

  16. Wowsers girl! I am sold on these!! No wonder it was hard to part with them. Eileen must be so thrilled with how everything has turned out. I can imagine that as the first user of the dies, for their inaugural displays, it placed even more pressure on you to 'deliver the goods'. Well you sure have delivered in spades! They really are all brilliant - especially love the little chair. I remember your creating a beach scene some time ago ... well a line up of the chairs would be fab with it! Congratulations again Anne - these are brilliant. Nicola xx

  29. What a wonderful parade a projects! I can only imagine that Eileen is over the moon to have you on her team. I absolutely am in love with that train bag/case thingamabob. I am wondering if I could get away with altering my briefcase in a like manner...Butterflies are totally office appropriate, right?
As for the relation to Darnell comparison, I DEFINITELY take that as a compliment. I am considering a formal petition to have her adopt me, but I haven't informed her of that yet as I fear she might file a protection order instead. ;) I love her snarky humor.

  34. Wow, Anne! I would imagine it is very difficult to be a crafter using a die in it's infancy, so to speak! but you have done a great job with each one of these new dies and embossing folders! Love that train case, the chair (!) and the book, well, EVERYTHING! I'm sure it was hard to send the dies back!
I want to thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your lovely comment about my "new" styled card! It was quite a challenge for me!

The first two samples, the case and the Adirondack chair immediately conjure up stories in my mind. The creativity is extraordinary. Anne, you are really the perfect paper artist to work with those dies.
