The Doodly Birds have flown in!

Hello Fellow Bloggers

Welcome to my latest followers, I never cease to be amazed that people want to follow what I am up to in the world of craft, but thank you, your interest is most appreciated!

I have been following Lynn Holland (http://oneimadeearliertoday.blogspot.co.uk/ since I first entered into the world known as What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW) and you will see lots of my posts describing this global phenomenon.

Lynn started up a shop recently (www.doodlybird.co.uk) and I had the honour of being her first customer. I bought two notebooks to give to friends.  I love them so much, I cannot bear to part with them and I have just received my second order from Lynn - a mini easel and a larger book in which I am going to keep my blog friends (not literally, just things I don't want to forget).  Lynn's products are delightful and each bird is hand drawn.

The goodies always come beautifully gift wrapped and this time I got a name tag too, as you can see.  I just wanted to share my new goodies with you.

I had  wanted to make some cards today, to blog,  but I have been so busy packaging up WOYWW ATCs to go to the four corners of the Earth, I did not get time.  I hope your all have a wonderful long Jubilee weekend and that the weather turns nice again!  Have fun.

If you do visit, I hope you will leave me a comment and I will do my best to return the compliment.  Crafty hugs, Anne x

  5. Hi Anne,
Well , I’m back and I have the rest of today free so as to catch up on everyone’s creations since I have been away refurbishing my old house.
I adore reading the blog’s and looking at all the lovely cards and projects, almost as much as making the cards myself.

  7. Love those birds - what a wonderful treat for yourself. Of course you want to keep them - I'd do that too! Thanks for being such a loyal and encouraging blogging buddy - with great words and compliments. I'm just typing up my last 6 DT posts for Simon Says but all my 'stuff' is made. Phew - such a relief. The blogging is a chore but I should be done by tonight. I'm out of Mojo for this week and really hope that I have next week to myslef to potter around cleaning up my craft room - or just sit and play...what a luxury that would be. I need to get my WOYWW atcs off too! Look forward to seeing them all. Enjoy the weekend! Sarah.

  10. Oh Anne ! I don't know what to say but thank you for your support of my work and your lovely write up.
Can I also say thank you to your blog followers for their very nice comments too.
Long may the Doodly Birds reign. They had a great day out yesterday at the local school's summer fair with many of them flying the nest to new homes. They are also going to be landing in the Head and Deputy Head teachers office as I have been asked to revamp their room. What a great scoop for us.
