Wobblers and Shakers - Tim Holtz Stamptember 2020

 Hello Friends

Today I am sharing some wobbler and shaker cards (I love interactive cards!).  I created the fun cards with Simon Says Stamptember 2020 Limited Edition release of stamps.  I was so honoured to have received this stamp set as a gift from Tim Holtz and Mario Rossi - I have enjoyed every single minute of using this stamp set, which features the fabulous Snarky Christmas Cats.  Thank you so much to Tim and Mario for their very generous gift, I truly appreciate it!

First up are the wobblers.  I created Distress Ink backgrounds and used Tim's greenery die to create the foliage.  I added wobblers to each of the images and they wobble beautifully.  I wonky stitched around the edges of each card and added layers of card to create a snowy effect.  I did do a video but new Blogger will now allow me to upload it (:( - sad face).

Again, Distress Ink backgrounds with some added foliage, and of course, the robin.
Next up are the Shaker cards.... this is just a selection of the many I made - apologies for the light on the domes!
Finally, here are some of the Wobblers alongside their Shaker pals, to give you a better look.

I really did have such fun creating these cards and now have a dozen cards made for Christmas, which is a big bonus for me!

Thanks so much for your visit, I hope to see you again soon.

Keep safe and well.

Hugs, Anne xxx

  18. Now I'm away for 9 days and you present me with not only two posts but an array of kitty creativity right here. My how i've laughed at those snarky little quotes and innocent (not) characters.. what a wonderful way to showcase a gift so generous. How lovely Anne, Tim & Mario obviously know you are the fan of all fans.. you always give that little bit extra with your creations. The what milk & what cookies reminds me of my eldest haa haa. I think the *this card is also your present* wraps up 2020 again.
Stunning makes my friend, thank you for the smiles Hugs Tracey xx

  19. Wow, those snarky cats are fabulous, that is so kind of them both to gift this stamp set to you and such a lovely surprise too! Of course I'm even more delighted to have one of these cards sitting on my mantle piece, it is truly a work of art - thank you so very much 😀. My hubby just loves the wobble design, he didn't know your could buy the spring mechanism to create cards with ...lol ... I think we are going to wear it out by Christmas though as it's so much fun to see that snarky cat covered in Christmas lights wobble 😁. You are such an inspiration and it's been a pleasure working with you at A Vintage Journey; I'll be sure to stay in touch. Wishing you happiness, peace and love this Christmastime! Thanks again, big hugs, Jo x
