Hello Friends
Does anyone remember the Monster Mash by Bobby 'Boris' Pickett? I really only remember it nearer to Halloween and I can't get it out of my head. I love Halloween and I usually make just one large project but this year I have done three! If you missed them, you can see the others HERE and HERE, using the latest Tim Holtz Halloween products.
I also said I was not going to buy any more Tim Holtz Halloween stuff, but as you will see, I broke down and bought quite a few things.... but what the heck, we only live once!
I am not going to go through the details because I think it is fairly self explanatory, but I will say, it was an absolute nightmare to photograph!! It definitely looks much better in real life...
Count Dracula is showing Mr and Mrs Bones the way - Mrs Bones has a blood stained shawl with a black rose to hold it together. Mr Zombie is making his way on his own, who knows where Mrs Z is..
I decided to add some lights behind the glittery sky and at the bottom to show the monsters the way to the party.
A couple of close-ups.
Thanks for your visit. If you are visiting today, Happy Halloween or, if afterwards I hope you had a great Halloween!
I hope to see you again tomorrow when I will be sharing not one, but two new projects.
Hugs, Anne xx
You are just SOOOOO good at Halloween Anne! (well everything else as well ...... ) What an amazing project - so many amazing details which all add up to a stunning piece. Jennie xxx

I couldn't wait to come over today and see what Halloween work of art you had created for us, Annie, and I was not the least bit disappointed! What a fun shadow box of ghoulishness! The lights are so effective at making the party scene even better and adding to the spookilicious details!! I love it! ❤Hugs, Darnell xxoo
ReplyDeletep.s. Forgot to say that we saw the twins last week and at the pizza place they played The Monster Mash and the boys started grooving to it, saying how much they love it! Always so neat when another generation likes the same songs!! xxoo
ReplyDeleteOh this is brilliant Anne, and I can't believe that it lights up as well! There are so many fabulous details here, and yes I do remember the Monster Mash! Have a very spooky Halloween, Sue xx
ReplyDeleteHad to pop on over before bedtime and take a closer look Anne. Adding the lights makes it much more usable, your so inventive with your detail and what a great story to be told. You will have me wondering where Mrs Z is now haa haa. Hope you had a great Halloween Anne, it will be round again before you know it..
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs & Thanks for those kind words again today Tracey xx
P.S I do remember that song, always seemed to be played at family get togethers and weddings :D
Of course I pinned!!! Amazing details in the foliage and love the whole design... But my favorite part is when the lights are on. Your placement of the lights is perfection... Lights up everything! I love every bit Anne!!!
ReplyDeleteGenius, Anne - especially once it's all lit up! I've been scrolling up and down through the photos with a foolish grin of delight on my face... and yes, carry on buying those Halloween goodies. I'm fully in favour of indulging in one's favourite things, especially when you make such brilliant use of them as this!
