if I have not been to visit you, hopefully I will get there soon. Since I was
here last though, Blogger/Google has deleted nearly 20 Followers, I do wish they would
not mess with things!
Anyway, just a quickie today, having no internet connection today meant I could do my Tim tag, this is my 4th year, how time flies when you are having a good time!
This month Tim is re-visiting the Industrious Technique and also the Chalkboard Technique. I have to admit to loving the Industrious one but I do find the Chalkboard one a little challenging.
A close-up of the fan, warts and all.
Thanks everyone, hope to see you again next week .
Hugs, Anne xx
Anne,
ReplyDeleteIt's not so good that you are still not feeling 100% but I am glad to see you have managed some art time, essential art time.
You perfectly captured Industrial as there is a fabulous grittiness to your tag, love it.
Take good care.
Wishes
Lynne
Anne, I hope you are feeling better.... I've missed you! I am also finding the chalkboard technique challenging, but I think yours looks perfect! And I like the folder you chose for the industrial look - agree with Lynne about the "fabulous grittiness"!! xxx Lynn

ReplyDeleteNo need to apologize, you just hang in there my friend! And as to losing followers, - you are lucky, I lost nearly 200! But, as people say, there's nothing we can do about it, and people who really want to see what we are doing, will find different ways to follow, I'm sure...
A brilliant version Anne. I'm a fan! (sorry couldn't resist). Sending hugs and wishes that things move on soon. Jenny x

Lynn xxx
So glad you're feeling a bit better and could play a little. I must get my eyes checked, Annie, because I'm not finding any warts At ALL! Love your fan. It looks so textured, and I first thought this was a pewter finish. Your chalkboard looks great! A wonderful combination of embossed imagery, and the wonderful fan. Good JOB! Your pistons were working ok on this one! My internet has been patchy all week too. Very frustrating at times. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteWonderful take on Tim's tag Anne, love the fan! And from what I understand, Google is cutting all of our followers who haven't signed up with a Gmail account, for some reason known only to them! Sending you healing energy and positive thoughts, feel better soon. Hugs, Deb xo
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job with this industrial Tim tag, Annie! I'm glad you felt well enough to participate and I hope all your cylinders will be firing before you know it!! Sending lots of love, prayers, and hugs! Darnell
ReplyDeleteA wonderful take on time tag xx hugs X trace x
ReplyDeleteBrilliant choice to use the vintage fan - it looks fantastic, and I love the industrial background. So glad you found the time and energy to play along - far better that you give yourself some play time than trudge around leaving comments - no need to apologise at all!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs,
Alison xx
This is great! I really love the fan and how beautifully your elements work together!
ReplyDeleteHi Anne, sorry to hear you are still not feeling too good, I hope things improve for you soon. Had to smile when I read your post as I said the same thing about the chalkboard technique. I think it looks great, your fan has a great grungy look which is just right for this months theme. I noticed I have lost 3 followers which is a shame also blogger was refusing to play nice for me on Sunday. They say "technology is a wonderful thing" maybe it is.... but only when it works! Hugs Lottie x
ReplyDeleteOh my, Anne, your take on Tim's tag is brilliant! I love your version more than original! Bravo! Huge hugs to you! Branka xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the layered fan with the chalk technique - the embossed gears are the perfect background for it! Julia xx
ReplyDeleteAwesome tag, Anne. Love your little fan blade that is movable. Such a clever idea. I have always really liked that stamp. This very "mechanical" themed tag is so cute. Love the embossed gears in the background. Perfect for the blueprint fan. Also...sincere thanks for your encouraging comment left on my blog. <3
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better Anne. I know what you mean about Google they've pinched some of my followers too!
