You can see Tim's fabulous tag HERE. I have pretty much followed Tim's tutorial albeit not with the same background materials.
I really enjoyed getting my little craft sewing machine out again to stitch the felt heart and the little piece of lace.
I tried to be a bit clever and stitched an arrow in my heart. I loved using the wire to attach my little heart to the metal arrow too.
You can see the different background elements I added and as Tim did, I went around each piece with a black Distress Marker and smudged them.
At Inspiration Journal, the challenge is 'Love is in the air' and there is still plenty of time to join in. There is a prize for one randomly selected individual, of $50 to spend at Inspiration Emporium's on-line store. If you do buy from IE and you used my code Redanne, you will get 10% off your whole order.
So there you have it, my entry into Tim's Tags for February 2015. Thanks for you visit and I hope to see you again soon. Hugs, Anne xx

Anne, the red heart surely does pop and the sweet stitched details, especially cupid's arrow. The wirework on the metal arrow brings even more texture to your tag. I like the combination of the softness of the heart alongside the metal embellishments.
ReplyDeleteSo much for the eye to see on this fabulous tag.
Wishes
Lynne

Wonderful make on TIm's tag! Every little detail is perfect, beautiful as always! BArbarayaya
ReplyDeleteHave to confess I smiled at your "not good at" comment...I've yet to see one of your projects that was not professionally turned out. This one is no exception. I do like your stitching and that's a pretty nice arrow on the heart too. Adding in the dark trims around the embellies did truly make them stand out a lot. Particularly liked the tiny bit of lace at the bottom too. You have such wonderful embellies that you add, in just the right spot, and it never looks 'overdone'. WTG, and TH would be proud. TFS & Hugs. Hope V. Day was wonderful at your house.
