It is time for Challenge #4 over at Linda Ledbetter's CC3C Challenge. This fortnight is sponsored by the wonderful Linda Coughlin of The Funkie Junkie Boutique who is offering a $25 voucher to spend in her on-line shop. Another lucky person will be chosen by the Curiosity Crew and that person will win a bumper bundle of Tim products, kindly given by Tim and Mario.
The challenge is to use Tim's Layering Stencil Technique : Texture Paste as found on Page 49 of the Compendium of Curiosities III. I cannot explain the technique to you but here is my entry, which is a 7" x 7" card topper:
I used Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks for the base and I used Ranger's (Wendy Vecchi) white and black embossing pastes, following Tim's techniques.
The stencils I used were Clockworks, Cargo and Speckles and I did some over-stamping with Cornflower Blue Archival Ink using Tim's Ultimate Grunge set.
Thanks for looking, hope to see you again soon. Hugs, Anne xx
Challenges:
Country View Challenge -Only Men Allowed where there is a £20 voucher to spend at Country View Crafts for a randomly selected individual
Sorry to have been so MIA for a while. I'm enjoying some surfing time this afternoon, and happy to see this brilliant TH card. Love the background and that black paste is striking in your design. So much texture & great color on this one, Miss Anne. Well done! You channel Tim like no one else! I hope he sees all the wonderful things you achieve with his products. I'm still looking for the book where I can use a coupon! TFS & Hugs

Stencil heaven Anne! The blend of ink colours below and above the paste is superb and I love the way you've echoed the black and white stencilling with the stamping on Umbrella Man. An absolute winner of a topper and proof if it were needed that you can get a canvas look into a smaller space. Love it. Jenny xxx
