Thank you to my lovely latest Followers, it is a real pleasure to have your company.
Before I start today I want to send my heartfelt wishes and thoughts to all our lovely friends in Australia who are being devastated by horrific fires at the moment. The wonderful Julie from Time to Create is right in the thick of it and she is also worried about her Brother who is on a walking/fishing holiday. I hope that they are all safe and keep well, that the winds soon die down and the fires are stopped.
If you are wondering what WOYWW is then please pop over and see our lovely hostess, Julia who you can find at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk. Julia will explain all to you.
Not much has happened in my room since my last post. We are having some major work done to our home and we are having to clear out our Garage and Conservatory, ready for the work to begin in February. I cannot tell you how much junk we have accumulated over the last 16 years living in this house! I expect many of you are the same...... so this is my desk this week:
A couple of background tags (with some beautiful hand rolled beads on top) that I did just for fun and have yet to complete. Some Goosebumps Texture Spray and some Stampsmith Stamps which I got in the sales. A Tim Holtz word stamp for a project I have just completed but can't show just yet, a Halloween paper pack (again from the sales) and lastly my new Chocolate Baroque stamps which I used in my last post. These stamps are so much fun - there is a mobile phone, a mobile home and a skylight to name but a few.
So that's it from me, thank you for having a look, I hope you will leave me a comment, I got round quite a few people last week and will try and do the same again this week. Happy WOYWW everyone. Hugs, Anne xx
Hi Anne, you just beat me by a post today...the tags look great, I still need lots of practise with mine to make them look as good as yours. Love the beads too.

Oh, there I was thinking that the new tag style was to incorporate encapsulated items..started my mind going already!! I rather suspect that hot air balloons are going to be a theme this year...I've already seen another set and have only been cruising desks for about half an hour! As for house junk - oh rest assured..you are NOT alone!!
ReplyDeleteSo impressed with your array of goodies this morning Anne. You make beads too?! Is there no end to your talents? Love the look of those tags, especially the honey one underneath and as for those Chocolate Baroque stamps - oh my! No wonder you've been inspired.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your pre-work clear up/out. I'm sure stuff just multiplies by itself in storage areas:) Hugs, Jenny x #35
Ah, the beads, would not want to mislead anyone, they were made by an acquaintance, not be me. I bought them to see how they are made, have made some but not this set. A x
DeleteI know exactly how much junk you can accumulate Anne after clearing our house ready for it's first floor extension. Good luck my friend
ReplyDeleteLynn xx
I've not seen the Goosebunps spray before, maybe I will investigate that. :) Loving your tags Anne, and the beads...well they are awesome! I've not tried that either. You give me so many wonderful ideas. Have a great day. Michelle x

Hi Anne, love your tag and those stamps!I am going to join in with WOYWW! this week but am quite ashamed of the state of my desk :) My heart goes out to our Australian friends too. I have a friend who lives there, fortunately in one of the few unaffected parts. Hugs, Carole Z X

ps don't forget to check out the bargains in the Jan sale over in our blog shop...

Love the tags.
ReplyDeleteFYI - the spray will not come off of a oak table if you over spray and then it dries because you didn't realize it. I may have to refinish my table someday. Ugh.
I am new to WOYWW and friends with Sandee. Hope you have a chance to check out my blog and desk.

Looks like they are going to be very pretty tags :)
ReplyDeleteWe have been in our house ten years now and I have definitely feel we have way to much stuff!
Good luck with the clearing Anne, I have been in my house for 34 years and wouldn't know where to start! Your tags look interesting. X
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting by blog. I like the tag backgrounds and the rolled beads. We moved house five years ago and the amount of stuff in the garage was immense! Good luck with the clear out. I hope you find some time to craft. Kate x #57
ReplyDeleteI would hate to have to clear out my stuff - it seems to spread throughout the house. I guess I am a bit of a squirrel - good luck with your house "work". x Jo
ReplyDeleteHaving just sorted stuff twice last year I don't envy you - only on those gorgeous stamps! Chris#87
ReplyDeleteI would not want to think of moving my supplies again! Twice is enough and now, I'm settled....nice and cozy with "Stuff" everywhere!
ReplyDeleteGlenda #78
Oh, I do sympathize given the house move we're about to undertake!
ReplyDeleteLovely looking tags and goodies on the desk... I did manage to get one project done and posted, so a pretty good day. Happy WOYWW!

I'm still trying to get all my craft stuff back in order after our Christmas visitors 'forced' me to tidy it all away, so I don't envy your having to do it over an extended period.
ReplyDeleteI was curious as to what Goosebumps Texture Spray was so after seeing a wee Youtube video - I want some too!! Haha The lady also added some of it into a mister bottle with a couple of drops of Distress Ink - wow, another dimension. SO many lovely things to play with. Now I need to find a shop that sells it :0) Mo xx
Don't talk to me about junk, we've been trying to declutter our loft before it falls down on us!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood look with all your work when it starts.
Love the look of those tags on your desk this week.
Happy WOYWW
