Hello Fellow Woywwers and Blog Friends
Goodness, this week has flown by! Sorry I missed last week. In some ways I am glad that the Olympics are over for a couple of weeks so that I can get my craft life back! I have thoroughly enjoyed them, Britain did so well this time and the closing ceremony was very enjoyable (I really enjoyed Elbow and even the Spice Girls!).
This is the time of week when we share our desks with the world courtesy of our Hostess with the mostest, Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk and if you want to know more or join in please pop over there.
Short and sweet today, this is my desk this morning. I did a mini workshop with Doodly Bird Lynn (http://oneimadeearliertoday.blogspot.co.uk) and a couple of her friends, on die cutting. We had a lovely day in Lynn's beautiful home and a wonderful lunch prepared by Lynn and it was a gorgeous warm sunny day too. When I got home I had a parcel from America, courtesy of Tim Holtz, via Simon Says Stamps, with my choice of prize! I chose Classic Favourites #1 by Stampers Anonymous and also a Penny Black stamp called chicky workout - it is so cute.
I think you can just about see the stamps, click on the pic and it should get bigger. Well that's all from me except to say thank you to all of you who sent lovely birthday wishes to my lovely David on his 70th birthday, he has had a wonderful birthday week - yes, a week!
If you stop by I hope you will leave me a message, I always try to return the compliment, wherever possible. Happy WOYWW, Crafty hugs, Anne xx

OOooh! Fun mail and from Simon Says Stamps-you can't beat that with a stick! Your desk looks like a good place to spend the day playing with your new toys. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to get parcel in the post instead of bills and junk mail. You definitely chose stamps at either end of the crafty world didn't you!! I will admit to being tidy, I lose the crafting mojo, not to mention the will to live, if my desk is too untidy!

Great stamps there Anne, what a lucky bunny you are. Oh and a Cuttlebug too, that makes me smile. Our internet connection is still patchy so I am trying to do my replies whilst I can. Thanks for stopping by BJ#46
ReplyDeleteHi Anne
ReplyDeleteI looks like a great day at Lynn's and your samples are all so fab. Lucky you to win such a lovely prize. Maybe you'll be lucky with my blog candy too!!
Happy Birthday to your dear David... mine's a David too!
Lots of love JoZarty x
It sounds as if you've had a great week, Anne - the workshop sounds fun, and well done, winning the stamps!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to David - he's had what my hubby's family call a Birthday Festival - not limited just to the one day! We have Birthday Boxing Days too lol!
Thanks for your visit. My ARTHaven is still in chaos, but despite everything, at least I am able to find a couple of square inches to do some creating! It's a good thing what I'm making is small, but the stuff needed to create the flowers does take up a lot of room and it's spilt onto the floor now. What a mess!!
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #10
Hi Anne, Congratulations on your win! And thanks for your kind comment re. the skiing sheep. They are cute, aren't they! Love that tag (above post).
ReplyDeleteRosA

Thanks for stopping by to visit and leaving a comment too!!!
Hi Anne - sorry I've been quiet - I've not been able to access the internet - my broadband was down for a whole 36 hours - I've got a lot to catch up on - speak to you later but good to see you back! Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteI missed most of the Olympics because I was working on a tutorial. When I finished, I was exhausted. Now I'm trying to fight my way back to normal. Guess it was best we were both gone at the same time, since I would have missed you anyway (grin). Have a great belated WOYWW. I'm number 11 this week.
ReplyDeleteGreat prizes you won! I have that dragonfly stamp and it is fab! Love the little chickens!! Might have to check that one out! Thanks for the peek!

ReplyDeleteHappy very belated WOYWW!
Tertia #116
Well you couldn't have chosen any more different styles of stamps for your prize! Like you, I like both very much, masses of use to be had. Your day with Lynn sounds fab, how great to get together so.
ReplyDeleteOh boy I'm sooooooo late visiting ~ apologies Anne...but I'm here now ;D
ReplyDeleteWell done on the workshop...I plan to take a peak and see what you were up to later.
I'm quite relieved that the Olympics are over too because being up so late and then so early to capture all the events, was beginning to take it's toll. No wonder I look like I do with not getting enough beauty sleep! ;D
Great prize...you're obviously going to have lots of fun time. Happy Belated WOYWW.
Enjoy your weekend whatever you get up to :D
Hi Ann Thanks for popping to see me. Your prizes look fab - hope that you have lots of fun with them. Belated WOYWW Hugs to you from Helen 18
