WOYWW Week 157

Hello Fellow WOYWWers and Fellow Bloggers

Wasn't last week fun!  I would like to say a huge thanks to Julia (http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/) for organising the ATC swap, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and have corresponded with people in the four corners of the earth.  If you want to know more about WOYWW then check out Julia's blog for info.

My post will be very short this week as I have done nothing since last week other than a challenge and also my Tim Holtz tag for June but I am not posting that until Friday.  I thought I would show my desk with some of the ATC swaps that I have received.  Starting at the top left is from Ann B, then May, followed by Trish and on the bottom row, two from Mark and the last one is from BJ.  How lucky am I! And there are more on the way too.  I made a little binder from Kraft envelopes to keep them all safe.

Also on my desk is my Tim Holtz Compendium II, which I have yet to look at and also Craft Stamper, again unopened.  Why?  Well we spent most of the weekend watching all things Jubilee.  I don't know how the Queen feels but I feel totally worn out and I just watched it on TV.

I managed to visit nearly 100 desks last week, not sure I will make so many this week but if you do visit I hope you will leave me a comment and I will do my best to do the same for you.  Crafty hugs, Anne x

  5. Morning Anne, thanks for showing your ATCs, I have done so too. Still loving my gorgeous dolphin from you, not sure I will ever want to put them away. I have a hanger on the wall which ATCs fit in but they get obscured a bit but perhaps I could make a display "thingy" similar using acetate myself. Hmmmm cogs are grinding now LOL - BJ#32

  8. I visited over 120 blogs last week, and I was exhausted. Especially after I had a hail storm on Wednesday evening and a massive cleanup on Thursday. I was ready for a bit of R and R. I would love to read Tim's book one day, but I doubt my library will have it. I even enjoyed the Jubilee across the pond. Happy WOYWW from #4.

  9. Now that is what I call a tidy desk! You've clearly put so much thought and effort into your ATC swap you may have needed a bit of a break. Mind you, talk about mastering self-restraint! When my CC2 arrived it was (and still is) permanently open - boy is your mojo going to get a further shot in the arm!!
Can't wait to see your June tag - did you find it easy/hard? I'm just building up the courage to have a go at that one. Hugs as always my crafty friend. Buttons x

  14. You know Anne, I too have not opened CS this month - plus another magazine I bought. I blame the Jubilee celebrations for this lack of activity but wasn't it worth a few days of sitting watching tv as history was made. made me proud to be British. Now we have the Olympics to look forward to - what a year.
Thanks for sharing your desk, Hugs, Neet #6 xx

I've really enjoyed watching all the Jubilee celebrations from here...I've heard so many wonderful comments from the all the Aussies. No-one does the pomp and pageantry as well as the British! I've felt so proud and now looking forward to the Olympics.

  47. Hello Anne!
I JUST mailed "Red Anne" today! So watch for her in, not sure how long. We have to fill out these new customs forms, in quadruplicate, at the post office now. So, "she's" in the postal hands now. *sigh*
    Love ya!

  50. I am hoping to make it to a few more this week than last week. Because of work commitments, I have been shockingly bad these last few weeks.
Loving all those ATC's you received. We have had a postal strike for the last 5 months (can you believe it?!)so I have not had any mail unless it had a tracking number and I could pick it up from the depot in 5 months. SOOOOOO Frustrating!
    Happy WOYWW

  57. I confess to having some unopened magazines around too. I am hoping this weekend will see me the chance to relax and peruse them. Love the ATCs you've received so far. This has been a fun swap. I like you idea of a special place just for the WOYWW ATCs. I think I'll make myself some kind of book or holder for them.

  58. I didn't make WOYWW this week. Half term and kiddie minding took over. I watched all the celebrations too so not many art pieces this week and a piled up workspace. Not a pretty sight.Interesting ATC's I spy.
