Hello Fellow Bloggers
A very big welcome to my newest followers, I really appreciate you joining me. Fortunately for you I do not blog every day so you will not have to do too much to keep up with me!!
This is the time of the week when I usually try to enter a challenge or two but I got some stamps this week from Lili of the Valley, they are brand new designs and the lovely and talented Bev Rochester and who can be found at http://bevscrafts.blogspot.com/ has been showcasing the new stamps for a couple of weeks now. I got two stamps and the one I am showing today is three gorgeous little bears.
I made this card for my wonderful blog friend Lynn Holland. Lynn sent me a gorgeous and totally unexpected treat in the post and I sent her this card to say thank you. She has received the card so it is safe to post it here now. Lynn can be found at http://oneimadeearliertoday.blogspot.com/ and she is definitely worth a visit to see her amazing Doodly Birds. I was just saying to Lynn today that I cannot decide whether I like cute or grunge best but today it is definitely cute. Who knows what I might get up to tomorrow.........
Aren't they just the cutest little bears? The backing paper is by Papermania from a very old paper pad I had in my stash. I coloured the bears with Promarkers, cut them out using Spellbinder standard circle small dies and then matting them, again with Spellbinders, using the Petite Scallop Circle dies cut out in in red card. The sentiment comes with the set of stamps, a new and very welcome addition to the LOTV stamps. The roses are from Orchid Crafts and I twirled the wire with a pokey tool to give an extra bit of dimension. Did I say how much I love these bears??
Thank you so much for visiting and I hope you will leave me a comment, I love to read all of them and I will always try to return the compliment. Enjoy your weekend! Crafty hugs, Anne x

ReplyDeleteHello Anne, I have been going through some of your posts and I am inspired to get busy and make some cards. In fact I have a couple people on my sending list that will be expecting a card from Aunt Connie. I found you through Kay of "505 Whimsy Girl". Kay and I have been following each other for a while now. She is such a sweetie pie. I hope you don't mind if I tag-a-long and follow you, too. I love your cards, you are incredibly talented. I blog about lots of different things including; art, paper crafts, sewing, painting . . . I'm just a retired grandma that is enjoying each new day the good Lord sends my way. Have a great day, Connie :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card you've done.
ReplyDeleteMy dearest Anne, it tickles me that you came over to visit and that you decided to follow me, too. I am looking forward to following you and checking out your creative posts. Have a lovely day, and thank you again, Connie :)
ReplyDeleteCould have sworn I'd already clicked 'Follow' on my last visit, tut. Well I have now :)
ReplyDeleteThis card is the cutest Anne, such sweet pictures! I bet Lynn was delighted with it :)
I love how you have set the bears out. I must go and research the Spellbinder cutters you used they give an amazing effect. And the way you spiralled the rose wire is fab :)
If anyone is interested, they can see my 'baby step' attempts at paper craft, or whatever else I get up to, on my Flickr page here http://www.flickr.com/photos/65345361@N02/ Any constructive criticism, advise or tips on my attempts are most welcome :)
Hope your weekend is going well Anne

Definitely cutey bears and great twisted wire too. Thanks for the "cling film" translation on Sandee's blog. Can't find a Bow-Easy supplier here in the UK though. As for my AB, the undermined page was on the pink spread AFTER I took the photo, nowonder you couldn't see the repair job - LOL. Thanks as always. BJ
ReplyDeleteHi Anne,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like my first comment didn't come through. Drats. I love the cute little bears. I'm sure they brought a smile to Lynn. I'm not too sure about the grunge thing (haven't tried it myself yet)- definitely like cute!
I'm at Starbucks where it's air conditioned as our heat wave continues. I'm just catching up with my favorite blogs this nice Sunday afternoon.
Hugsm,
Kay
Haha all these lovely compliments about your card but none of them have the pleasure of the real thing like me. I am one lucky girl. It is standing proudly amongst the Doodly Birds and will be visiting my Tuesday night craft group to be shown off.
ReplyDeleteHow about doing some craft workshops for all us who live near enough to you.
Love Lynn xx
Aww, super cute teddies!! x
