Hello Blog Friends
I have had a stamp of a clematis from Oak House Studios for ages and before I started blogging, about 3 months ago, it was my most used stamp, it just seems to fit any occasion.
A couple of weeks ago, the talented Christine Emberson over at http://hope-chances.blogspot.com/ asked her followers to send her a card of something that reminded them of Spring - so this just had to be my first choice. I did not post it here because she posted it on her blog, on Wednesday, under Spring Inspirations Projects and I wanted that one to go up first. Also, I do WOYWW on a Wednesday so it clashed. Anyway here is my card using this gorgeous stamp. It is stamped and decoupaged to give it some dimension.
Apologies, I cropped it a little too much but it is only a tiny bit at the top of the card that is missing. Of course it had to have butterflies too as they are my most favourite things ever.
If you do have a look please leave me a message, I love to read them all and always try to return the compliment. Crafty hugs, Anne x

DeleteHi Anne,
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased you liked my little book review and I think you will enjoy the book. There is only one project in there about ATCs (I think). Don't worry about how to do ATCs. I might have said before, the only preprequisite is the size (2.5" x 3.5"). You can use any medium or technique to make them, anything at all, whatever you are comfortable with. It is nice though, to use a slightly sturdy background, say card, (not just paper), as they are meant to be "little works of art". There is a good book on ATCs by Bernie Berlin. Hope this helps.
Have a nice weekend,
Oops, brain moving faster than fingers (or is it the other way around?) ... prerequisite ... that's better.

Hi Redanne. Love the embossing, it really stands out & those flowers are such a beautiful colour. Very pretty. Sorry you are not getting my updates-I may have to check out my blog & see if something is wrong. As quite new to blogging I don't really know my way round settings very well! Sx
