Hello Lovely Blog Friends
Today I am entering the Sunday Stampers Challenge which is run by the multi talented Hels Sheridan over at http://pinkleart.blogspot.com/ and this week the challenge is simply to make something with RED.
I still have not fully decided what my 'style' is but this entry is a mix of old and modern. I have used my favourite balloon stamp from IndigoBlu, the papers are Papermania Portobello Road and a few words by the amazing Tim Holtz. I embossed the balloon in black, coloured it with fired brick distress marker and then I added some cut up ribbon to make the bunting around the balloon. The words say 'life is an adventure' and the metal tag says 'journey'. I have incorporated as much red as possible.
If you like it please do leave me a comment and I will repay the compliment wherever possible. Have a lovely day. Crafty hugs, Anne x
This is just gorgeous, love the image and a great design.xxx

ReplyDeleteYour card is amazing! I truly love it!!! The union jack bunting on your balloon looks fantastic! I also love it in the background of your card. WOW!!! This is really stunning. I also wanted to thank you for your sweet comment you left on my blog about my kaleidoscope of color piece. I usually tend to go to the more "distress ink" colors. That is my comfort zone...but Dyan's wonderful Dylusional inks are really fascinating to me. <3 Candy
