Lucky Black Cat

This is a card I made a few weeks ago, for a friend to give to her Brother-in-Law, who has a very fat cat.  I used the shape of a pear to draw the shape as a template and then traced this on to black card and cut it out.  The only tricky bit was cutting around the tail.  I had some paw print background paper which I covered the inside with and then added a border using a paw print stamp edged in black soot distress ink.  I simply added the heart and bow to finish the card off.  A very simple card.  I liked it so much at the time I made a spare!

Crafty hugs, Anne x

  3. Thanks for visiting my blog Anne, I really appreciate the comments and am now 'following' you as well. Clever to use the pear shape for your cat, I wouldn't have thought of that and I love some of your previous posts - dress form tag especially.
I only started my blog last June but it can be addictive. What with blogging, looking at other's logs and browsing the on-line shops it's a wonder I get any crafting done.

see you come from Cheshire - do you get to the Happy Stampers festival in Port Sunlight?

    1. Hi Ann, not been to that one, I tend to go to the GNPE in Harrogate which is in March this year. I know what you mean about blogging and I have only been at it for just over a week!
